As you all may know, Jetfire is the most sought-after figure in the ROTF toy line, and his features absolutely justify it. Pretty much everyone else covered the main points, so I'll just list the pros and cons.

Pros:
- Transforms into an SR-71 Blackbird. (One of the sickest aircraft designs in history.)
- Robot mode is very accurate to the film version, such as the hunched-over posture, head, and cane.
- Alt mode is huge. The Blackbird is at least 18 inches long and looks amazing on your shelf, details and all.

Cons:
- The toy has an odd blue body, while in the movie it was solid black.
- Transformation is fairly difficult. Seriously. I spent over 20 minutes looking at the instructions before I finally pulled it off.
- There is quite a bit of kibble underneath, which kinda sucks. However, the alt mode is so massive that in the end it's really not that bad.

Simply put, grab this figure as soon as you see him (or you'll be waiting for weeks until he restocks, and even then you'll have to be lucky). Hopefully they make a premium/voyager version that justifies the cons, but overall the pros outweigh everything else. You won't be disappointed.

I don't think I would have gotten this figure if I hadn't seen Optimus combining with Jetfire in the movie. Now that I have him in my hands, as ugly as he is (he's an old man-ish transformer), he's starting to grow on me.

One of the things that I have to say is that these Transformers today are a lot more complicated and delicate as compared to the Transformers back in the 80's. Jetfire is no exception.

These toys are meant for collectors and adults, and kids with gentle hands. Don't give these to excited kids - they'll snap off the arms by accident and be done with it.

Anyway, the first time I transformed him, it took me over an hour. The trickiest part for me was being able to combine the arms together to form the cockpit of the plane. But once I got that down, it was pretty easy. I can now transform the thing in less than 3 minutes. You just need to be aware of the nuances of the hinges and little twisty joints for the arms and legs.

The one thing I notice is that the plane curves a bit. Not sure why this is, but it doesn't go completely straight like how a real plane would. This happens to be the way it is manufactured though - I mean look at the stock photo on this page! Can you see the slight curving of the plane?

YAY or NAY? YAY - it's pretty solidly built, a little tricky to transform in the beginning, and provided you're careful enough, won't break. The plane mode is pretty awesome too, even though it curves a bit.

this toy is alot of fun i recommend this i was lucky to get it real ceap on amazon instead of paying over $[...] for this toy its very cool how it combines with leader class optimus prime to form power up optimus prime; get this toy before its gone im looking foward to getting devistator next ill be getting him at the end of the month

Customer Buzz
Wow, what an awesome product. What detail there is to it. It also very easy to pose once you tinker with it and figure out. It also extremely easy to Transform, especially when you put in comparison to Optimus Prime and Mix Master. Some of the pices snap of really easily while transforming the figure, however that is to prevent any pieces breaking, you can easily snap them back on. I just can't believe what a great job Hasbro did with this product. In Vehicle Mode his parts aren't very well concealed however, and when in Vehicle mode he is very long.

Now I already had Optimus Prime, so what a great surprise to learn that you can put both of them together just like in the movie. It is very easy to prep both fugure to combine, however it was pretty difficult for me to actually put them together. This is because it is an extremely tight fit. Once I put them together it looked great. Do not expect to pose the figure once you put them together, the legs are locked in place.

Overall a great figure to purchase. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Transformers, you won't be dissappointed.

Hasbro has done a good job with the latest toys in the Transformers line. The ROTF line is no exception. These toys are awesome. Very complex for the most part and loads of fun for all ages. Leader Jetfire absolutely rocks. Nice mid-level complexity. Very good Alt Mode. The SR-71 is an awesome sight on your shelf. The paint app is wonderful (especially like the little Northrup Skunk Works logo). In Robot Mode he's pretty movie accurate. Like other reviewers have said there is lots of room for you to mod or change things to get him just the way you want him. But the cream here for me is his Combiner mode. It's great. Very "heavy" and powerful looking. It's an awesome display mode. Last thing, do not pay the scalper prices for this guy. Yeah he's kinda hard to find right now but he's out there for the normal Hasbro retail price, just keep looking.

Product Description

Rebuilt with parts cannibalized from other DECEPTICONS, MEGATRON rises once again to lead his army. Though the AllSpark destroyed him once, he can now feel its power coursing through his circuitry. It calls him to seize his rightful place as ruler over the puny planet on which he was imprisoned and destroyed, and from which he will launch his conquest of the universe. OPTIMUS PRIME® is all that stands between him and victory, and the AUTOBOT® leader has done a poor job of hiding himself. At long last, MEGATRON knows exactly where his enemy is, and he has power enough to destroy him.

Prepare for an exciting battle with this DECEPTICON leader! In robot mode, this mighty warrior features electronic speech and light-up eyes and chest that give away his diabolical intentions. And with a flip-out sword, this bad guy is ready to give AUTOBOT forces the fight of their lives! In tough alien tank mode, a firing fusion cannon and blasting sounds lets attackers know this villain means business. MECH ALIVE gearing reveals moving armor panels and internal gears so you can recreate some of your favorite movie scenes â or create your own! Grab this fearsome foe and roll out!

Customer Buzz
From a great movie this toy is by far the best Megatron out there must have!!!!

Customer Buzz
I love this figure. The legs are took me a couple times to figure out but are pretty simple after you transform him a couple times. I really wished they would of given more articulation to the tank arm. This figure isn't too hard to transform compared to Optimus but if you're going to get Optimus, why not Megatron?

Customer Buzz
Like the ROTF Leader Class Prime, this Megatron is a big improvement over his first movie Leader Class incarnation. The detail is much improved, I like that he turns into something that we have seen Megatron as in past cartoons, and the design in robot mode is much closer to that which is seen in the original G1 cartoon. The tank mode is awesome, almost looking better than robot mode. The transformation is actually not that bad, something that if a little kids wants to they could do. The only problem is maybe needing a little muscle. Having Hugo Weaving's voice is cool. The cannon noise gets a little annoying with every time you turn the gun arm. Overall, a pretty good Megatron.

Product Description

For Millennia, he has waited. Thousands of years have dragged by as he recruited proxies, one by one, to scour the cosmos for the artifact he required. Now he finds he must return to the primitive, flesh-slug infected planet on which is quest began. Nothing will stand in his way this time. If need be, he will scour the surface of the disgusting world clean in the fire of his rage, and search through the blasted rubble for that which he seeks.

Customer Buzz
Overall, this is a great toy, but it does have some downsides. Here is a list of pros and cons:

Pros: Great articulation and detail. It also has many moving "Mech-Alive" features that do not negatively effect the toys value.

Cons: These wouldn't matter to the average buyer, but the toys paint scheme is a tad inaccurate to the movie. He is an odd shade of dark green, and not matte black, and he lacks the reflective turquoise on his headdress spikes. He also lacks the spear he has in the movie, but a you could find one around your house.

Pro/Con: He transforms, which he lacks the ability to do in the movie and comics, which is a bonus for some, and a burden for others.

The cons might make the pros look fewer and far between, but if paint accuracy isn't that big of a matter, this toy is perfect. If paint does matter, don't get me wrong, this is a great MOLD for you. Hasbro has designed a more accurate, flame deco version, which will be released around November, just in time for the Holiday Season.

This is one version, of two, of The Fallen in toy form (the other form being approximately a 4 inch tall figure), and this figure is really neat! The Voyager series is quite possibly the best version of the Transformer figures we get with this particular movie. The figures run at about $23 depending on where you buy them.

I also bought the Optimus and Megatron figures of the Voyager editions and, this also goes with The Fallen, the figures all feel cheap. The plastic is extremely lightweight and it's tough to keep the figures from staying in their vehicle modes (Optimus) without the aid of a rubber band. As much as I love these figures I will say right now that the Transformers toys from the 80s were of better quality than these. These feel like toddler toys that will break apart at any second when you handle them.

That's the only downside to all of these figures. Otherwise, these figures are still worth the $23 as they are very well detailed and are a nicer alternative to purchasing some of the more expensive models of the toys. Although, with The Fallen, this is the top of the line. This figure is articulated in many areas and the feet are closed together by springs so it would be easier to transform it into The Fallen's vehicle form. To get the feet flat you simply have to set the figure up on a flat surface. But the spring-loaded feet make the figure look even cooler if you set it up on the edges of boxes where one or two toes are flat while the other toes are grappling the edges of the boxes.

The "solar panels" on either side of The Fallen's head can be folded to the back of his head to give a more authentic look to the figure. The transformation of the figure isn't all that easy so you'll want to keep the instructions that come with it.

Overall, the figure is exceptional and highly recommended for any collector or fan of the Transformers toys! The appendages look great as well as the paint job!

Customer Buzz
The big bad villain the Fallen. He has a nice or should I say interesting bot mode. The "jet" mode is pushing it very obvious they created the bot first and just thought they could convert him into something that looks vehicle-ish.

He's limited as far as posing goes. He can only move his head in and out for this "energy panels" He has no ball joints for wrists so again it can only go up and down. Legs and arms have free movement though.

He's pretty sturdy though his leg did pop off once, but I popped it back in and had no problems ever since.

His feet are kind of annoying if you move him too much. Other wise I like the fact that they just plop into place if you set him onto a hard smooth surface.

Overall he's awesome looking overall though limited in certain aspects but definitely worth the [...]. Would recommend.

Transformers movie 2 voyager demolisher

I agree with Rodolfo. Read his review for the technical flaws. I regret buying this thing and, especially, opening it. I should have compared the scale in the store, but didn't do so until it was too late. I live in coal country and have stood beside a slightly smaller version of this sort of "steamshovel." Were this to scale, any of the deluxe class cars/SUV's should easily fit in the bucket. This is a joke. This should have been made in Ultra class scale or, at minimum, Leader class.

For a real eye-roller, place this version of Demolishor beside the Chromia and Arcee Deluxe models, which I'm definitely not buying b/c the scale is so ludicrous.

Customer Buzz
Found this guy, Demolisher, on sale on Target. As others have said, he is probably one of the harder ones to transform, which surprised me, as I thought hed be one of the easier ones. the directions were hard to understand.. We've had half and half luck with the voyager class transformers, so I was prepared if it came down to this, he would be designated to shelf life, like my son's Starscream and Ironhide. but, he seems more durable them then and my son loves his design.

Just be prepared for a hard transformation..my son is 8 and had a tough time with it..although normaly he is the whiz at those things.

Customer Buzz
I went to TOYS R US today and I saw the transformers ROTF display up and I picked up DEMOLISHER. When I got back in the car I transformed him. I thought it was pretty neat. I think he looks cool in vehicle and robot mode. Only one part has fallen off and it was easy to put back on. Its wheel even moves in robot mode. His arms kind of help him stand up. I would really recommend it!

Customer Buzz
The character's description fits the toy well because this is not a great toy.

The toy is based on a Terex/O&K RH400, "the world's largest hydraulic excavator". It must be huge, but making it part of the Voyager line (the big toys, but not the biggest) means that it's roughly in the same scale as the smallest Optimus Prime in the Legends line.

The red colored deco is more appropriate for a simmilar excavator called Scavenger that also appears in the film and forms the torso of Devastator.

Now on to the toy itself:

ALTERNATE MODE:
Demolishor should be painted WHITE. The toy lacks a lot of detail that can give a sense of scale, especially a lot of pistons and cables on the arm of the real excavator.
The whole "body" is off in shape and proportions, and it can't swivel on top of the tracks, so the arm will always point in the same direction.
The tracks are made of rubber, but they can't roll because they're permanently attached with screws to the two wheels inside each track. They even have a small hole that connects to pegs in the body. The tracks are fake, but there's no little wheels either, so the toy can't roll in any way.

So, this toy doesn't roll, the body doesn't swivel and then the only moving part is the arm, which has 3 points of articulation.

Transformation is a little bit hard, especially because both modes are not familiar and you don't know how it should look in the end. Also, instructions are accurate, but aren't very clear.

ROBOT MODE:
You'd think that the excavator mode was sacrificed in order to have a great robot mode, but you'd be wrong.
The robot design is intended to balance like a Segway on one big wheel alone, as it has no legs. This limits a lot of poseability, because you'll need to use both arms to stand the toy like a tripod.
Because the head is permanently attached to the body and there are no legs, the only articulation is in the arms, but it's useless for posing because they're needed to stand the toy.

The toy in general seems to have few pieces, so durability should be good except for the delicate handrails that follow the contour of the excavator and it's stairs. Mine shows white stress marks where pressure has been applied by the twist ties that hold the toy in place within the package.
Paint application is scarce, resorting more to molded colored plastic.

To sum things up, the toy has very limited poseability and detail for a toy in the Voyager line. There's much more molded detail in the medium-sized Deluxe toys (like Sideswipe, Sideways, Rampage).

This is the "less bang for your buck" toy that I've seen from the ROTF movie. I recommend you to get a couple of Deluxe toys instead of this... or that you save a little and get Optimus Prime in the biggest Leader line, which is the greatest movie toy I've seen.

Customer Buzz
I was walking through target yesterday and was suprised to see the ROTF display up. I picked him up along with Rampage and Soundwave. I love the way Demolisher looks in vehicle mode but what's the point of having a transformer and not converting it. I must say he was one of the more difficult ones I've transformed, mostly I think because the directions get confusing sometimes. I think it took me 10 minutes to convert him but I wasn't really impressed with the result. On the box I figured his arms would help him stand in robot mode but they only move in a few directions but after playing around with it for awhile I found a decent pose for him. All in all Demolisher was a good buy but I'm really looking foward to the supreme class Devastator.

I used to watch this series as a kid and this release shows it just as I remember. I hadn't gotten these before because the prices were so high but this was very affordable. Can't wait for the second season.

Customer Buzz
Great dvd set. This was one of my favorite TV shows as a kid, and now my 3 year old son is enjoying it! The set came quick and the 25th Anniv cover looks great. The cartoon quality is outstanding. Can't wait to get him Season 2!

Customer Buzz
My main reason for this not being as good as the Rhino release is that there are no audio options. What if I wanted to hear the original broadcast audio like in the Rhino release? Also, what if I wanted to hear it in 5.1 audio like the Rhino release. With this, you only get one audio option and that's 2.0 stereo. On the Rhino release, you get all three. Also, originally I thought the picture was better, but it's actually not as good. It's darker and doesn't have as much contrast. Also, it doesn't have that many bonus features. Anyway, I will give you the good things about this release. It's cheaper and has different special features. Also, it's more compact so it doesn't take as much room on your shelf. If you don't have the out-of-print Rhino release then, by all means, purchase this set.

P.S. Season 1 of the original Rhino release didn't have the original broadcast audio as an audio option but the rest of the seasons on Rhino did.

Customer Buzz
This is the first season of Transformers: Generation 1(1984-1987)! I like this cartoon very much. Peter Cullen ,the voice of Optimus Prime, started his Transformers fan base here. Frank Welker is also the original voice of Megatron, not Hugo Weaving. These are the 16 episodes released in 1984-1985 on American TV. I highly Recommend this series. This G1 cartoon series is very special to me because I grew-up with The original Transformers from the 1980s.A+++

Customer Buzz
Compared to other cartoons that I have shown to my son, this is by far the worst. The animation is terrible compared to other cartoons of the time. Also, the plots just don't make sense. Save your money for something else, such as Justice League, Batman or Robotech. Unfortunately, not everything from the past is worth watching again.
